Can I join a professional association when I complete the IEWP™ event and wedding program?

Yes. The IEWP program is widely recognized in North America and around the world, and our students and graduates are among those eligible to join the following excellent professional associations:

Do I need prior training or experience?

No. Together, we'll start from scratch. You do not need any previous experience in the event planning industry to do really well in this course, and in the field.

Will I need any other training in order to become a professional event and wedding planner?

No. The course gives you all the expertise you need. There are various industry associations that you may want to consider joining to increase your visibility. But, your IEWP certification is the key designation you'll need. What's more—it's yours for life. There are NO annual renewal fees to be paid to keep your accreditation in force.

How many lessons are there in the course?

The course is comprised of six units, each containing a rich array of printed, audio and video materials. Within each unit there are five or six multi-layered exercises to complete.

How long will it take to complete the course?

This is entirely up to you. You can work through your course at your own pace. This means that you can easily complete the course with little disruption to your regular daily routine. If you work as little as three hours a week, you could finish in about six to eight months.

If you're anxious to get certified, you can devote more time to your studies and finish the course in a much shorter timeframe.

What if I decide the course is not right for me?

After you receive your first shipment, you have a full 21 days to decide if you want to continue. If you are not satisfied, simply return the shipment and you'll receive a full refund.

Is this course appropriate for someone who wants to explore this industry, but isn't necessarily interested in a new career?

Absolutely. Perhaps you'd like to use your course knowledge to plan an upcoming personal event. Or maybe you'd like to explore event planning as a hobby, or perhaps you'd just like to add another skill to your repertoire. Whatever the reason may be, our training will still be very useful to you even if you don't wish to start your own business.

Is the school a member of the Better Business Bureau?

Yes. As an accredited BBB business and member of the BBB's stringent Online Reliability Program, QC Quality of Course is authorized to display the BBB seal. In business since 1984, we have a superb track record.

Will the School help me once I've finished the course?

Our course offers full business training. You learn how to start up your business right from scratch, how to sell your services using tested marketing techniques, and how to work through the entire event consultation process. We also give you the templates for the contracts, invoices, and key business documents you'll need as the CEO of your own company!

We provide you with ongoing free access to our online student center,. Within the center, you can easily create your very own personal web pages. You'll develop your web content so that the public can search for event planners through the QC site, and easily find your name.

Even long after you have completed your course, we encourage you to stay in close touch so that we can continue to offer you support and guidance with any problems that arise as you work in the field. There is absolutely no charge for this. We want to stay close and available to you.
