With this in mind, there are likely still many potential clients who would like to get started on planning their future events, and require your assistance.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, getting together with clients in-person isn\u2019t really an option at the moment. To reduce the spread of the virus, and to keep yourself and those around you safe, interaction with others needs to be kept to a minimum. But this doesn\u2019t mean that you still can\u2019t meet with clients <em>virtually!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s no reason why your <a href=\"\/blog\/2015\/11\/top-questions-to-ask-at-every-client-consultation-free-download\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">initial consultation<\/a> with a client, and future follow-up appointments, can\u2019t be held electronically. Technology has come a long way, after all! The quality of a video call, using software such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skype.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Skype<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/gsuite.google.ca\/intl\/en_ca\/products\/meet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google Hangouts<\/a>, offers a high-def experience that\u2019s just as effective as being face-to-face.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, appointments can also be held virtually, or over the phone, with other vendors and suppliers!<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Option_2_Live_Stream_Weddings\"><\/span>Option 2: Live Stream Weddings<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>An increasingly popular option, many couples are choosing to live stream their wedding online, rather than holding a large, formal event. The beauty of this option is that basically <em>everything <\/em>can be done electronically \u2013 even down to virtually conferencing with the individual in charge of officiating the ceremony!<\/p>\n<p>Should your clients wish to wed while still practicing social distancing, they have the freedom to tie the knot right in their very own living room. Better yet, none of their close friends or family will need to miss the ceremony. They, too, can watch and enjoy the celebration, while also remaining safely at home.<\/p>\n<p>(In fact, another cool benefit to live-streaming your clients\u2019 wedding is that they can have as <em>many <\/em>\u2018guests\u2019 as they want! No need to worry about <a href=\"\/blog\/2016\/06\/conquering-seating-plan-part\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">seating<\/a> or <a href=\"\/blog\/2017\/03\/quiz-whats-clients-dream-wedding-venue\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">venue<\/a> capacities!)<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of cost, giving clients the option to live stream their wedding is also an excellent way to keep the budget to a minimum. Every. Single. Time.\n<ul>\n<li>The more education you have to your name, the stronger your resume will be, and the <a href=\"\/blog\/2015\/12\/how-to-stay-ahead-of-the-competition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">more appealing you\u2019ll be<\/a> to clients.<\/li>\n<li>Similarly, if you wish to join a planning company, your chances of being hired will be way higher if the employer sees that you\u2019ve received proper training, and have your event planner certification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you already have your certification, why not build on your existing qualifications? You can make your resume and skill-set even stronger! There are so many different facets of the event and wedding planning world.
