For the past two decades, Aimee Spencer Tiemann has led some of Metro Detroit’s biggest festivals and live concert engagements. She started her career at the Emerald Theatre, where she produced and promoted over 75 live events with artists including Kid Rock, Stain’d, Eddie Money, Cheap Trick, Vince Neil of Motley Crue, Velvet Revolver, Tower of Power, Joey McIntyre of New Kids on the Block, and many more.
During her time at the Emerald Theatre, Aimee also served as an Artist Liaison Director for Freedom Hill Amphitheatre, working on the production of over 100 concerts with legends including Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Tom Jones, and 98 Degrees to name a few. Tiemann then shifted gears, working for Clear Channel Radio where she created events with national recording artists to meet a corporate sponsorship initiative.
Aimee was on the founding board of Stars and Stripes Festival—an annual three-day free festival that takes place during America’s Fourth of July festivities, attracting over 500,000 visitors at its peak. She also built a team to bring the Hip-Hop Summit to life, featuring high-profile artists such as Eminem and Russell Simmons.
Further, Aimee was one of the organizers at the helm of The D Drop, what is now known to Detroiters as their New Year’s Eve celebration, attracting visitors from around the world. To date, Aimee Tiemann still acts as a consultant on corporate and live events.
