Lauren De Koster

QC Event School Tutor

Owner & Creative Director, Twelfth Night Events

Lauren began her career in sales working for one of the world’s largest hotel chains. She travelled extensively throughout North America building relationships, industry connections, and attending conventions and trade shows. In 2009, Lauren became a recognized International Wedding Planning Professional through QC Event School. Shortly after receiving her certificate, she transitioned into full-time event planning for one of London’s premiere event facilities. In 2012, Lauren launched Twelfth Night Events, which has since become Southwestern Ontario’s leading event planning company, winning numerous national and provincial accolades. Lauren and her team of professional event planners have had the pleasure of planning an amazing range of events from city-wide conferences, to gala dinners, to corporate functions and trade shows — and of course — a ton of weddings! She’s thrilled to share her wealth of expertise with budding wedding and event planners as a QC Tutor.

“As an alumni of this course, I strongly believe that the information I learned prepared me for a successful career in event planning. Because I took the time to study and truly understand the course materials that I received, my business stands out amongst my peers as one that truly understands this industry. By applying what I learned from this course, I have managed to create a successful business that has become a 3-time provincial and national award-winning company. My company has been recognized by the Wedding Industry Expert awards, the Wedding Wire awards, and has been featured in media outlets such as the Huffington Post, Wedding Bells, and countless blogs.”
