Once you enroll with QC Event School, you’ll be matched with a personal tutor who will review your work and provide you with in-depth feedback and advice. Our accomplished tutors have years of experience in the event industry and are eager to share their professional insight with you.
Mwai Yeboah— Founder of the destination wedding planning boutique, Love From Mwai in the United Kingdom. As the lead planner and designer, she helps luxury and lifestyle clients turn weddings and events across the globe into immersive experiences.
Renee Tucci— Renee Tucci has more than 20 years of progressive floral design and leadership experience in the retail and event marketplaces. She is an educator with the AIFD Education Partner Program and a member of the national Teleflora Education team. Connecting with fellow designers and bringing the floral community together is one of her truest passions.
Maryellen Madaio —Event Planner, Boston University
Over the last decade, Ms. Madaio has worked more in the non-profit sector. An avid animal lover, she ran many lucrative fundraising events for her local shelter. Currently, Maryellen Madaio plans events for alumni and external clients at Boston University.
Angela Hodel—
Angela is the owner and manager of Imagine Events, Wedding and Event Planning. She became certified as an event and wedding planner in 2009, and graduated from QC Event School as an International Wedding Planning Professional. Now, Angela has over 10 successful years in business leading her own company in Saskatchewan, Canada, and has worked for multiple non-profit organizations bringing knowledge and experience to her role as an event planner.
Alyssa Perna—Principal, Experience Events and Managing Director, Ingenuity Cleveland
Alyssa has over a decade of event operations experience ranging from leading multinational business-to-business conferences, festivals and tradeshows, press conferences, large-scale fundraisers, complex social events and more.
Ashley Friesen— Owner and lead planner for Ashley Brooke Weddings and Events in Winnipeg, Manitoba and is a QC graduate herself! With 10 years of experience in the wedding industry, she specializes in wedding planning, design and coordination and loves being able to create weddings that are unique to each of her couples.
Shannon Fowler— Elite Event Planner, Designing Memories
Shannon earned her certificate for Event and Wedding Planning from QC Event School in 2010. She now has an extensive background in both corporate events and weddings after working in the industry for 10 years, and loves meeting with new clients to see how to make their event special and unique.
Amira Harris—Owner, Aisle Travel™
Amira Harris is the owner and destination wedding specialist of Aisle Travel™ based in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Aisle Travel™ provides Canadian couples with full group travel services, destination wedding planning, and customized wedding group experiences.
Sarah Webb—Owner and Creative Director, Timeless Inspirations
Sarah Webb is the Owner and Creative Director of Timeless Inspirations, a well-known Hertford-based planning boutique. Sarah’s creative seed for planning weddings didn’t come about until she planned her own wedding in 2005.
Anita DiPaolo—Event & Wedding Planner, Owner, Grazie Gifts
With over 9 years of experience in the industry, Anita thrives on the challenge of creating proposals within budget, and coordinating entire themed events starting from the simplest spark of inspiration.
Heather Hawes—Event & Wedding Planner
With over 20 years in event management, Heather has produced a vast array of events in her diverse career, including hosting the First Lady Michele Obama at Spelman’s Commencement.

We accept applications from all over the world, but the majority of our students are from the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
